Ongoing Discussion for a New Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
Al Batinah Power Company SAOG (the “Company”) advises the Financial Services Authority, the Muscat Stock Exchange and the investors’ community that it is in discussion with Nama Power and Water Procurement Company (“PWP”) regarding a new PPA to succeed its existing agreement, which is set to expire in March 2028.The Company submitted its proposal to PWP on 28 September 2025, covering multiple tenure options, with a maximum term of up to 15 years.
As of today, discussions are ongoing, and no final agreement has been reached between the Company and PWP.
The Company will make the necessary announcements if there are any material developments, in accordance with the disclosure requirements.
